Two park benches approved, purchased, and placed on the historic courthouse lawn for visitors to enjoy the beauty of downtown Waxahachie.
The Rotary Club of Waxahachie is so proud of the two park benches that were approved by the board of directors in 2020 and are now placed on the historic courthouse lawn. Our hope is to continue beautifying Waxahachie with these park benches that have the Rotary wheel affixed to each of them. The benches are secured with bolts, and we know they will last for years to come. The Rotary wheel is a reminder of "Service above Self", and how each Rotarian can make a difference here in Waxahachie and around the world. Every Rotarian has a servant's heart and each member brings their own special talent to our group. That talent is demonstrated each month by each and every serving Rotarian. Together, we do great things! I am so proud to be a part of such a great group of men and women, said the current Rotary president, Billie Wallace.
